We offer free shipping on orders over $99.
Otherwise, shipping is calculated based on weight at checkout, and starts at $10. This service cost is determined by our delivery partners.
As a small business, we are working hard to bring you the most reliable and lowest shipping fees possible.
We do not profit from any shipping costs.

Once dispatched:
Metro delivery is within 3-5 business days.
Regional delivery is within 7-10 business days.
Remote delivery is within 14-20 business days.
Please allow some delays due to postal congestion during busy periods out of our control.
We’ll always do our best to get your order to you on time.
Occasionally, there might be delays that are out of our hands.
If your parcel hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe, we ask that you please check your tracking info and/or getting in touch with the courier directly.
No, we currently do not offer a Click & Collect option. However, we are often at markets and are stocked at many store-front locations around Australia.

If the courier attempts to deliver your package without success it will be left at a nearby Post Office for you to collect, or await you to book a redelivery.
Generally, you will have 10 days to collect otherwise it is returned.
We have unable to guarantee anything for packages that fail to be collected by the recipient.
However, we supply each order with a Tracking Number to help avoid this scenario.

If an uncollected parcel is returned to us, shipping costs cannot be refunded as the delivery service was provided.
Any disputes about the attempted delivery should be raised with Australia Post before contacting us.
We appreciate your understanding as we are a small business doing our best!
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a solution once the parcel is with the courier.
Occasionally Australia Post allows you to redirect your package via the Tracking Number we supply.
Otherwise we recommend Australia Post’s paid redirection service here:

We double-check that the lids are on tight ‘n’ right before hand-wrapping each jar in eco-friendly honeycomb paper.
These are then shipped in a recyclable cardboard box.

Our products have a shelf life of one year from the date of cook, and we make fresh batches every week!
The exact date can be found on the bottom of each jar.
We recommend keeping it in the fridge to maintain that heavenly crunch.
However, the product is shelf-stable.
Yes, our products are Halal-friendly.
While we do not have certification, we are happy to report:
• No animal products at any stage of production (everything is 100% vegan).
• No alcohol at any stage of production.
• We have our own kitchen facility so there is no cross contamination.
No, we do not add MSG.
While there is nothing wrong with MSG, we are proud that we take the time to slowly develop our flavours rather than using shortcuts.
Yes. At least 85% of our ingredients are from Australia, including Australian Non-GMO Canola Oil and Tasmanian Shallots.
We proudly use 100% non-GMO Australian canola oil. And there’s many factors we consider:
➊ HEALTH STUDIES
Claims against seed oils are only based on rodents & fish, not humans.
Much like how avocado, chocolate and grapes are toxic for dogs - but great for us!
Human studies actually show benefits with canola oil, which give us full confidence in the ingredients we curate.
We also believe health can be achieved through balance.
➋ FLAVOUR
Canola oil's neutral flavour base allows all our gorgeous aromatics to shine.
We put a huge amount of effort into letting our flavour develop over 48hrs, so we want people to taste this at its fullest!
➌ AFFORDABILITY & DIETARIES
Other oils would restrict dietaries, double the costs, making our products inaccessible for our wonderful fans.
➍ OLIVE OIL
We often get asked why we don’t use olive oil - and the short answer is, it just doesn’t make sense for what we do.
The flavour clashes with our chilli oil, and unless it’s extra virgin, most olive oil is still extracted using solvents (just like seed oils).
But if we did use a beautiful Extra Virgin Olive Oil, we’d have to heat it during production - which feels counterintuitive to a raw ingredient.
As a small business, we also don't currently have the capacity to offer an array of oil options.

Yes, both our recipe and kitchen are gluten-free and coeliac-friendly.
We use a gluten-free soy sauce.
No, they do not.
Our brand name, Six-Eyed Scorpion, is actually inspired by our chef & founder who is a Scorpio star sign!
Our Crispy Chilli Oil is incredibly versatile, and can be used to top-off basically any type of cuisine.
Our favourite combinations are:
• Asian: dumplings, noodles, fried rice, congee
• Australian: eggs, avo toast, seafood, salads
• Italian: pizza, pasta, soft cheeses
